LawCastles’ principal operations are in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. In its operations, LawCastles understands that its success depends on recognition by clients that it provides high quality legal expertise. Our primary objective is to serve the needs of our clients in more efficient and professional way. We constantly improve our level of client service and strive to achieve the goals set by such client services as:
 
  • Promptly responding to requests from potential clients and existing and clients. At LawCastles, telephone messages and correspondence are returned promptly. We have after-hours voice mail and message service in English. We utilize appropriate technology to ensure accessibility via ordinary telecommunication channels (e.g., fax, email, etc.);
  • Keeping clients informed of the status of each matter. We keep our clients informed of the status of the matter we are handling on their behalf. We discuss the client’s requirements for status reporting, including frequency and format, at the beginning of the relationship;
  • Entering into an engagement letter with the client. We enter into an engagement letter between the firm and the client. Matters that are always addressed in the engagement letter include the scope of the engagement, the role of inside and outside attorneys, the process of engagement for new work, the responsible/lead attorney, the persons qualified to handle matters, objectives and measurements, communication (frequency and format), compensation, billing matters, etc; and
  • Issuing bills that are timely, clear and easy to understand. We send our bills in a timely manner. We explain our charges and expenses in detail. If billing problems arise, we resolve them promptly.
